What’s the Plan for Jogira?
After a long day of exploring the forests and mountains of Upag and the coastal plains, we were ready to hit the great open field of Jogira. When we got there, it was nothing but sand, sand, and more sand! We tried to negotiate with the locals who were mostly hostile, but it was hard to do much with the scorching sun and lack of shade. On our way back to the car, we met a couple of locals who were incredibly helpful and kind. Once we got back to the car, I calls out to a fellow driver nearby, asking for directions to the nearby salt mines. After a bit of searching, he gives me the address. Once there, I call for the driver to the salt mines and he heads there too. After a bit of exploring, we come to a salt field where we can purchase three bags of salt at an amazing price.
StartOff on the Right Track
Now that we had the information we needed to get going, we headed towards our objective. As with most places, you’ll want to start the day with a good breakfast, followed by some coffee and injection of caffeine. It’s been a long day, after all, and we were eager to get our bodies urdughr moving. So, we started the day with a quick walk around town, prepared to explore any landmarks and take in as much of the scenery as we could while our sponsors drove us around. We found a great little cafe where we could get our morning coffee, and after that, we spent some time exploring the nearby parts of town that were relatively safe for the drivers.
Find Your Goal
As we headed towards our destination, I started to think about our goal. We had mostly explored the coast and mountains, so far as far as you could from here all the way to the next town. There, we would find a hotel, grab a few meals, and explore the surrounding countryside. As we started to head inland, I kept going one village over to look for more information. Eventually we came to a town and, for the first time in our lives, we stopped and had a look around. A small town, but with a surprising amount of history. We were immediately struck by the view of a cliff being broken into tiny pieces by the wind and rain, and then the whole village being washed away to the beach below. At first we didn’t understand what was happening, but then we saw several ancient ruins visible, and a theory formed in our minds. Once we had a general idea of what we were looking for, we headed towards the place where the ruins lay.
## Jogira’s Puzzle Instinct
We had a plan for what we were going to do next and we were all ready to go. We just needed to piece it all together. We were headed to the salt mines, and we knew the way there was an obvious path that led to the salt fields. After a little bit of looking around, we found the perfect path and followed it to the salt fields. We were all ready to party. We started our evening at an excellent restaurant, where we relaxed and had a few drinks before heading back to the car. After that, we headed towards the hotel and checked in. We were all ready to party.
## Final Words: Going from Shocked to Invigorated
As we got into the car, I called our sponsors to let them know that we were ready for the drive. We headed towards the coast and hit the salt mines. With only a little bit of negotiating, we made our way through the various towns and managed to find the hotel, where we were all happy to stay. Once there, we closed our eyes and relaxed as the car drove through the beautiful scenery. We had a great time exploring the nearby places, and then we headed back to the hotel to get our nightcap. After a quick nap, we were ready for bed.
